Tactile Turn “BAK” Bolt Action Knife – Put together three different looks for lifestyle commerical photos to display on the Kickstarter page for the product. We wanted to highlight the details of the product and pair them with other items typically carried in pocket. In addition to the styled photos, clean white background photos were also taken for Tactile Turn’s website.
Nock Co. Lanier Slim Briefcase – I’m super happy to be working with Nock Co. This project consisted of some product photography and a Kickstarter video. Since the bag is mostly black, we went with a light blue background that matched the stitching. It brought the bag to life and did a great job of drawing attention to the small details.
Tactile Turn Slider and Glider Bolt Action Pens – Will is back at it again with a fresh round of pens. These unique pens raised nearly $160,000 on Kickstarter from over 1,600 backers. We went with clean, high contrast white background photos to show off the material and intricate machine work on each pen. When you’re selling products online, great photos are immensely important.
The Tactile Turn Gist Fountain Pen – Another project from Will over at Tactile Turn, this rugged fountain pen raised just a hair under $130,000 on Kickstarter from nearly 1,000 backers. Will and I agreed a mix of lifestyle imagery, and crisp, clean white background photos would do an excellent job of portraying his work.
The Tactile Turn Mover and Shaker – successfully funded on Kickstarter with $81,000 (surpassed the funding goal by over $50k). Will Hodges, the proprietor, contracted me to take all of the initial launch photos for the campaign. Selections can be seen below.
The Tactile Turn Pruner and Parer – successfully funded on Kickstarter with over$10,000 pledged. Will Hodges, the maker (a return customer), was very happy with the results and his funded project. Selections can be seen below:
